Renegade presents "A Holiday Dollar Store Special," 8 p.m. Dec. 31, Zeitgeist, 222 E. Superior St. Tickets available at: zeitgeistarts.easy-ware-ticketing.com/events . All patrons will be required to adhere to Zeitgeist’s COVID-19 policies, including wearing a mask and providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test. Third annual New Year’s by the Lake, Dec. 31, at four venues. The event features a five course dinner in the Greysolon Ballroom with Maxi Childs Trio performing during dinner followed by comedy by Jack Willhite in the NorShor Theater. Then back to the Greysolon Ballroom for Big Wave Dave and the Ripples or Laura Velvet in the Moorish Room with their stylish musical presentation of everything from Motown to modern. The Black Water Lounge features DJ Cory Bonneville playing the greatest dance hits from the 1950s to today. Enjoy balloon drops, a champagne toast and party favors at midnight in all three rooms as well as a photo booth. All elements of New Years by the Lake are indoors and completely accessible via the skywalk system. Ticket packages range from $30-$129 per person. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Bluebird Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) that provides grants and scholarships to area high school age students in the performing arts. Glensheen’s self-guided Christmas Tours through Jan. 8. Look for 25 hidden Christmas trees and more than 25 hidden elves. In addition to the 25 nice elves, the 25 more naughty elves have hidden in even sneakier locations throughout the entire mansion. All 25 naughty elves can be found on a Full Mansion Tour, while all 25 nice elves can be found on the Classic and Full Mansion tours. Guests who find all 25 nice elves or all 25 naughty elves will be awarded an awesome temporary tattoo claiming their “Elf Hunt Master” status at the end of their tour. Guests can get their Evening Candlelight Tour tickets at glensheen.org . Access to the outdoor Spirit of the Lights display is free and open to the public; reservations or tickets are not required to attend the outdoor light display.
