A west coast indie band that emerged in the mid-1990s will play a show at Symphony Hall in late summer.
Modest Mouse, best known for the song “Float On,” plays at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. Tickets start at $39.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the DECC box office, ticketmaster.com of by calling 1-800-745-3000.
Modest Mouse is a classic cult-fav-gone-big story - specifically with the release of “Good News for People Who Love Bad News” in 2004. At one point the band was joined by Smiths-defector Johnny Marr.
Modest Mouse’s most recent album is “Strangers to Ourselves,” which was released in 2015.
