Lyric Opera of the North's 2018-19 season will start with a tribute to a Leonard Bernstein and end with Donizetti. In between, some of the local opera company's annual events.

The season opens in October with a 100th birthday celebration for Bernstein that includes his "Trouble in Tahiti" on a double bill with "Filthy Habit," by Peter Hilliard and Matt Boresi. This will be followed by a night of marital trouble-themed works at Clyde Iron Works, date TBA, and the annual Valentine's Day Soiree on Feb. 14 at Greysolon Ballroom.

Little LOON will tour a kid-friendly adaptation of Donizetti's "Elixir of Love," and then the adult-friendly version plays June 14 and 16.
