Luke Combs to headline April concert at Amsoil

A country musician who played at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center as an opener in 2016 will make a stop in Duluth during his first headlining arena tour in 2019.

A country musician who played at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center as an opener in 2016 will make a stop in Duluth during his first headlining arena tour in 2019.

Luke Combs, who was nominated for male vocalist and new artist of the year at the CMA awards, plays at 7 p.m. April 11 at Amsoil Arena as part of his “Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour.” Openers include LANCO and Jameson Rodgers. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at Ticketmaster outlets including ticketmaster.com and the DECC box office.

Combs’ last tour spanned 55 cities and included sold-out performances. His most recent album, “This One’s For You” debuted as No. 1 on Billboard country album charts, and then spent 12 weeks at the top.
