Hermantown schools prepare online drama performances

Musical numbers will be streamed Dec. 4-7.

The Hermantown drama club is preparing a fall musical concert in keeping with the pandemic times, according to a news release from director Theresa Taraldsen.

"The Lasts 20 Years — A Musical Revue!" will feature students from grades 7-12 singing one song from each musical staged at Hermantown High School for the past 20 years. Songs will include classics such as: “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning,” “Modern Major General,” “Corner of the Sky,” “Castle on a Cloud,” “Wouldn’t it Be Loverly,” “I Feel Pretty,” “Tomorrow,” “Impossible Dream" and more.

Name-your-price tickets for the streamed concert are available from hhstheatre.ludus.com . The concert will be streamed Dec. 4-7 at 7 p.m.

Protocols from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and from the Minnesota Department of Health, were followed in the creation of this production.
