The Duluth Public Library will offer curbside pickup starting Monday, April 27.
Curbside pickup will run from 10 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays at the main library location, 520 W. Superior St. Patrons can pick up items on the Michigan Street side of the library, according to a news release from the library.
Pickup appointments can be reserved starting Friday for patrons with items on hold. Materials can be requested through the online catalog at duluthlibrary.org . Starting Monday, April 27, patrons can also call in reservations at 218-730-4200 between 9 a.m. and noon and 1-5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
Up to 10 items can be put on hold for pickup, while e-access temporary cardholders can check out up to five items. Interlibrary loans aren't currently available, and only items on the shelves at the public library's locations are available for request, the release reads.
The library isn't accepting returns or book donations at any location.

The city's safety and training officer approved the curbside service. The service allows staff and patrons to practice social distancing; staff will also use cloth face coverings.
