The Duluth Public Library is offering an electronic library card, which will give people who apply temporary access to e-books, audio books, magazines and databases such as NewsBank and Ancestry.
To apply: go to duluthpubliclibrary.org/e-access . There is an online registration form, which requires an email address. The card will be available within 2-3 business days. This card is available only to Duluth residents, but the Arrowhead Library System is offering a similar card .
E-access cards expire on June 1, 2020. The library is suggesting users convert e-cards to a permanent card when physical locations re-open.
