Activities/sports involved in: Math Team, MathCounts, Destination Imagination, Knowledge Bowl, School Band, Honor Band and Cross Country.
Who would you most like to be like when you are an adult? and why? A technical engineer, because my dad says it's challenging and would be a good thing for me to do.
Favorite thing to do: Hang out with my friends and play Xbox live.
Favorite food: Pizza, cheeseburgers and tacos.
Anything else you'd like to share with us? I have four brothers and one sister. I play the Baritone B.C. in band and was in the maroon land in honors band.
Why nominated? Arne Maijala, a seventh- and eighth-grade math teacher at Cloquet Middle School and the CMS Math Team coach, says Jace has been a member of the Math Team for the past two years. In this time he has helped the CMS Math Team to a first- and second-place finish respectively. Jace is also a member of the MathCounts team and placed in the recent MathCounts competition. He is a hard worker and a model student.
