Section 00 11 13 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids for the Bristol Street Pump Station Rehabilitation, WLSSD Bid Number 1441, will be received at the office of the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD), 2626 Courtland Street, Duluth, MN 55806 1894 until the BID CLOSING at 2:00 p.m., local time, on the 23rd day of February 2022, whereupon the bids will be publicly opened and read. No bids will be received after the BID CLOSING time. Description of Work: Provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the Bristol Street Pump Station Rehabilitation project in accordance with the project plans and specifications. The project includes flow diversion pumping, concrete rehabilitation, structural improvements and repairs, recoating of wet well, reroofing, louver replacements, resealing joints, regrouting, door and door stoop replacement and asphalt paving. The work includes providing and installation of guardrails, safety tie-off points and davit bases. A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE for this project will be held on 9th day of February 2022, at 1:00 pm, local time at the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District, 2626 Courtland Street, Duluth, Minnesota, 55806-1894. Representatives of the Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. A site tour will be conducted as part of the mandatory pre-Bid conference. During the mandatory pre-Bid conference, prospective bidders will have the opportunity to ask questions relating to bidding or constructing the work under this contract. If deemed appropriate by the Engineer, questions that cannot be addressed by direct reference to the bidding documents will be the subject of an addendum issued to all plan holders. A BIDDERS FAILURE TO ATTEND THE PRE-BID CONFERENCE MEETING SHALL CAUSE ANY BID SUBMITTED BY THAT BIDDER TO BE DEEMED NON-RESPONSIVE AND WILL CAUSE SUCH BID TO BE RETURNED UNOPENED.
