SUPERIOR NATIONAL FOREST
The Skeg Sale is located within T60N R6W Sec.5, 6, & 7, T60N R7W Sec.1 & 12, T61N R6W Sec.31 & 32, and T61N R7W Sec.36. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Tofte Ranger District at 10:00 AM local time on 08/25/2020 for an estimated volume of 87 CCF of Jack Pine sawtimber, 208 CCF of Red Pine sawtimber, 143 CCF of Spruce sawtimber, 3077 CCF of Aspen pulpwood, 767 CCF of Balsam Fir pulpwood, 618 CCF of Pine pulpwood, 140 CCF of Paper Birch pulpwood, and 220 CCF of Spruce pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of Spruce sawtimber, Mixed Hardwood pulpwood, Hardwood grn bio cv, Jack Pine sawtimber, Mixed Conifer pulpwood, Softwood grn bio cv, and Red Pine sawtimber that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Tofte Ranger District, 7355 Highway 61 West, Tofte, MN 55615.
