COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Community Development Committee (CD Committee) is announcing a 30-day public comment period on the following Amendment to the 2020 Annual Action Plan of the 2020-2024 Consolidated Plan: Substantial Amendment to the 2020 Annual Action Plan The substantial amendment is that the City of Duluth will decrease the total project amount of the SIA Blight Reduction and Coordination project of the FY 2020 Action Plan from $39,763 to $0; thereby removing it from the 2020 Action Plan. The $39,763 will be reprogrammed into the FY 2021 Action Plan Acquisition Demolition Program project. This reprogramming is to consolidate efforts for increased blight removal at a more expeditious pace. There is a 30-day public comment period for the Substantial Amendment and funding recommendation from February 19, 2022 – March 22, 2022. Please send comments to: Suzanne Kelley, or 411 W. Some members of the Committee will be participating through video conference. Due to the COVID-19 emergency and the closure of City facilities, public comment will not be taken in person.
