James and Rebecca Nelson of Duluth celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a private dinner with family and friends and will travel to Arizona in October.
James and the former Rebecca Ricci were married Aug. 17, 1968, in Duluth.
Their children are Shelly and Mick Zupetz of Saginaw and Jeff and Jennie Nelson and Amanda Nelson, all of Duluth. They have three grandchildren.
James owns Jim Nelson Builders in Duluth. Rebecca is retiring this month from Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Duluth.
