Outlook: The Rails were held to 176 total yards in a 29-9 loss to North Branch in Week 2. Four turnovers cost Proctor a chance to control the time of possession. Evan Checkalski’s 9-yard pass to Connor St. Germaine in the fourth quarter accounted for Proctor’s lone touchdown. East won 35-6 in last season’s meeting. … The Greyhounds routed Hibbing 55-6 last week as quarterback Caden Edwards threw four touchdown passes. Edwards is a dual threat, having run for a team-high 148 yards (9.9 yards per carry) and thrown for 260 yards. He has accounted for eight TDs. Fullback Elijah Leonard, a Minnesota Duluth recruit, has 136 yards rushing (6.8 per carry). DeKarri Davis is the leading receiver with five grabs for 100 yards (20.0 per catch).
TWO HARBORS (1-1) AT ESKO (2-0)

When: 7 p.m.
Outlook: The Agates rallied to defeat Pine City 20-17 at home on Cole Komarek’s 28-yard TD pass to Karsen Holm in the fourth quarter. Holm also had a 4-yard scoring run. Sam Johnson (45 attempts, 169 yards) leads the team in rushing. Two Harbors has never been a passing team under coach Tom Nelson though when it does it goes for the big play. Komarek is averaging more than 20 yards per completion. The Agates beat the Eskomos 19-12 a year ago, winning their first game in Esko since 2009. .. The Eskomos opened with two road wins, 13-7 at Proctor and 48-8 at Virginia. Esko outgained Proctor 305-172, using two Dylan Vinje-to-Eli Blue touchdown passes to earn the win.
