Holmes, Brown
Megan Holmes of Gilbert and Edwin Brown of Maple plan to be married Dec. 30 in Grand Superior Lodge in Two Harbors.
Her parents are Bradley and Kristine Holmes of Gilbert. His parents are Michael and Crystal Brown of Maple.
The future bride, a 2006 graduate of Mesabi East High School in Aurora, graduated from the College of St. Scholastica this year with a bachelor's degree in biology/pre-medicine. She is a physician's scribe at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minn.
The future groom, a 2004 graduate of Northwestern High School in Maple, graduated from Lake Superior College in Duluth in 2007 with an associate degree in commercial and residential wiring. He is a member of the Minnesota Air National Guard's 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth and is currently deployed to Afghanistan.
