Irresponsible with tax dollars, Duluth doesn't deserve more for parks
While most park amenities are free or have a minimal charge, there are ongoing costs to develop and maintain them.
Rather than finding new money such as an increase in a property tax levy, perhaps the needed funds could be found in the general fund or, better yet, the tourism tax.
