Gertsema, Johnson
Sara Gertsema and David Johnson, both of Duluth, plan to be married July 21 in Concordia Lutheran Church in Duluth.
Her parents are Rick and Carrie Gertsema of Duluth. His parents are Mike and Kay Johnson of Willmar, Minn.
The future bride, a 2005 graduate of Duluth East High School, graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is a sixth-grade teacher at Winterquist Elementary School in Esko.
The future groom, a 2005 graduate of Willmar Senior High School, graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and from the University of Minnesota in 2011 with a master's degree in civil engineering. He is a civil engineer at Lake Superior Consulting in Duluth.
