Kathleen Furlong and Michael Fredeen, both of Hibbing, were married May 3 in Blessed Sacrament Church in Hibbing.
Her parents are Lawrence and Kathryn Furlong of Hibbing. His parents are Kent and Laurel Fredeen of Chisholm.
The bride chose her sister-in-law, Kris Furlong, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amie Furlong, Andrea Madsen, Meghann Thompson, Becky Senst and Becky Zarnke.
The groom chose Mike Hillman as best man. Groomsmen were Paul Ciochetto, Chad Trembath, Bryan Massich, Kris Arnebeck and Jay Hildenbrand.
The bride, a 1997 graduate of Hibbing High School, graduated from Bemidji State University in Bemidji in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in design technology. She is principal and art director of Pink Tie Design in Hibbing.

The groom, a 1995 graduate of Chisholm High School, graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in industrial technology. He is a safety representative for Hibbing Taconite Company.
