The Duluth Playhouse is offering spooky virtual theater over Halloween weekend with the premiere of “Tales from the Ghost Light,” a production billed as being inspired, in part, by experiences from its own stages.

The show, filmed throughout the NorShor Theatre and featuring local actors, is among a handful of upcoming events — including live shows — the community theater announced earlier this week in an email to patrons.

NorShor Classic Film Series is scheduled to return with a screening of “It’s a Wonderful Life” with limited seating available. Tickets go on sale Nov. 1.

There are three shows scheduled to run in December, including the holiday revue “Songs of the Season” at the NorShor Theatre and “A Charlie Brown Christmas” at the Family Theatre at the Depot.

Ticket information will be announced in the next few weeks, according to the Playhouse.
