Mind your third-party ticket platforms, theater-goers. The keepers of the Duluth Playhouse said Tuesday that fraudulent tickets are being sold on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist to a Dec. 4 sponsor preview of its production of “The Wizard of Oz.”

“This is a ticket scam,” according to an email from the theater. “We do not sell tickets to any of our preview performances at any of our venues.”

Tickets to Duluth Playhouse productions are available at duluthplayhouse.org or norshortheatre.com or by calling the box office at 281-733-7555. Third-party sales are at the patron’s risk, according to the playhouse.
