The local PBS affiliate will launch a channel dedicated to day-long access to the likes of "Daniel Tiger" and "The Cat in the Hat" later this week.

PBS Kids TV Channel goes live on Jan. 31 and will have content between 6:30 a.m.-1 a.m. for viewers in the broadcast region and will also be available for streaming on the PBS Kids app or at PBSKids.org.

Most TVs should pick up these channel updates automatically, though some TVs may need to be reset by unplugging and replugging them or by rescanning the channels, according to WDSE-WRPT. Troubleshooting is available in the FAQs at WDSE.org.

This is WDSE-WRPT’s fifth channel, in addition to PBS North, Explore, Create and MN Channel.
