Glensheen's lineup for its popular outdoor summer concert series will include a mix of Duluth's long-standing favorite musicians, like Charlie Parr, and some of the relatively newer high-impact acts, like AfroGeode.

Concerts on the Pier, which plays on Wednesday evenings on the jut of concrete behind the Congdon mansion, 3300 London Road, starts July 7 with Sarah Kruger's project Lanue and runs through famed fiddle player Gaelynn Lea's performance on Aug. 25.

Concerts are free and open to the public, frequently draw floaties and kayakers, and if you're lucky the band will do a dramatic dip into Lake Superior as a finale.
