The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center is testing a new bag policy — with specific dimensions — during today’s Five Finger Death Punch concert at Amsoil Arena, according to a news release from the venue.
No bags exceeding the guidelines will be allowed into the building, but concertgoers can return the bags to a car.
These guidelines do not apply to all DECC events. The concert is considered a “soft launch” of the policy. If the DECC continues with the guidelines, it will be only for major concerts at the venue.
Acceptable bags include: A small bag that is no bigger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches, like a clutch or wristlet without a handle or strap; clear bags made of plastic, vinyl or PVC that do not exceed 12 by 6 by 12 inches; resealable clear plastic storage bags no larger than 1 gallon. Medically necessary bags including breast pumps are allowed but subject to inspection.
