DSSO names new executive director
Sandra Madden has been hired as the executive director of a Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra, its board of directors announced on Wednesday.
Madden begins in June, taking over for the orchestra’s violist-on-leave Kevin Peterson, who had been in the position in an interim role.
Madden has been the general manager of the Colorado Symphony Association and executive director of the Madison Symphony Orchestra. She’s currently in Minocqua, Wis., where she is the executive director of the Campanile Center for the Arts.
The DSSO also released its 2019-20 season schedule, which includes a birthday for Beethoven, a night of arias and New Year’s Eve with “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” For season tickets, call (218) 623-3776.
