Lake Superior Writers is seeking submissions for its 2019 writing contest with the theme "I'm New Here." Explore this theme, metaphorically or literally, and writers can interpret it as broadly as they wish. Categories include: Poetry, short-short fiction, short fiction and creative nonfiction. Entry is free for Lake Superior Writers members and $35 for non-members. Deadline: April 1. Go to for details.
