A Twin Cities-raised comedian who appeared on “Reno 911” and has been involved with writing Happy Madison movies such as “Grandma’s Boy” and “Benchwarmers” brings his tour to the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center.  

Nick Swardson’s “Too Many Smells” Tour is at 7:30 p.m. May 31 at Symphony Hall. Tickets start at $35 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster outlets, including the DECC box office and Ticketmaster.com.

Most recently, Swardson has been in movies like “That’s My Boy,” “Blades of Glory,” “30 Minutes or Less,” and “Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star,” which he wrote, starred in and produced. His special, “Seriously Who Farted,” played on Comedy Central in 2010. He co-starred in “The Ridiculous Six,” starring Adam Sandler and Will Forte and also “The Do-Over,” alongside Sandler and David Spade.
