There are two ways to get tastes of (fill in the blank) this weekend: the 27th annual Taste of Greece festival is from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. July 13-14 at Marshall School and includes Greek flavors and music; the third annual Taste of Duluth is 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday at Bayfront Festival Park and includes food vendors, music and a kid-friendly area.
Opa! Taste of Greece includes Greek dishes and pastries, costumes and a Greek boutique. Admission is free.
Taste of Duluth, according to a news release, is leaning toward something similar to the former International Folk Festival and will have samples from America, Eastern Europe, Asia, Germany, Italy and Greece. Entertainment includes McInnis’ Kitchen, the Fish Heads, Sydney Hansen and more. There will also be an inflatable obstacle course for kids. Admission is free.
