Dennis and Judy Mattinen of Esko celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
Dennis and the former Judy Hughes were married Aug. 16, 1969 in Duluth.
Their children are Joe and Jody Mattinen of Esko, and John and Holly Mattinen of Cloquet. They have four grandchildren.
Dennis is retired from Sappi in Cloquet. Judy is a retired beautician.
