Students in grades 9-12 at Harbor City in Carol Furchert and Darin Bergsven’s six day “Historic Battles” symposium course reenact the Battle of Hastings of 1066. The 35 students learned about ancient warfare by staging mock battles in Bayfront Park on Wednesday. The class covered battles from Alexander the Great, the Roman Empire, Gettysburg and more.
