Take a walk along Chester Creek on June 25

An outdoors presentation on Chester Creek restoration and protection will take place Wednesday, June 25, 6:30 p.m. Participants will meet in the Chester Bowl parking lot at 1800 E. Skyline Pkwy.

An outdoors presentation on Chester Creek restoration and protection will take place Wednesday, June 25, 6:30 p.m. Participants will meet in the Chester Bowl parking lot at 1800 E. Skyline Pkwy.
Chris Kleist, stormwater coordinator for the City of Duluth, will lead a short tour of the creek. This will be an opportunity to learn about the Chester Creek watershed, the impact of the 2012 flood, upstream restoration and protection efforts, the Chester Creek Master Plan, green infrastructure ideas for homeowners and how to adapt to a changing climate.
Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather. The event is co-sponsored by the St. Louis River Alliance and the Izaak Walton League, W.J. McCabe Chapter of Duluth.
