Students give light to those in hospital

Art Club students at Lincoln Park Middle School hand-crafted lanterns and personally delivered them to children in the Essentia Health St. Mary's Children's Hospital earlier this month. The colorful felted lanterns were illuminated by tea lights.

Art Club students at Lincoln Park Middle School hand-crafted lanterns and personally delivered them to children in the Essentia Health St. Mary's Children's Hospital earlier this month. The colorful felted lanterns were illuminated by tea lights.

The service-learning project was sponsored by the Duluth YMCA, with grant money from the Duluth Public Schools Endowment Fund.
