Students and government workers tidy up Mississippi River

The Itasca Trails Task Force, in coordination with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Northern Lights School in Warba, conducted its annual Mississippi River cleanup this month. Members picked up trash along a two-mile stretch on the Mississippi River between Grand Rapids and LaPrairie, starting at the Blandin Dam.
