St. Luke's is celebrating the opening of its new Miller Creek Medical Clinic on Monday, Dec. 19.
The clinic, which is part of the St. Luke's health system, is conveniently located at 4190 Loberg Ave. in Hermantown. It's across from HOM Furniture and minutes from the mall and other shopping centers. It also has a convenient covered drop off location and ample parking, and it is near the bus route.
"We want to make it easy for all of our patients to get the quality care they need," said Ben Bengtson, Miller Creek medical clinic manager. "This new clinic will do just that for our patients. We're really excited to have the chance to offer patients that convenience along with a new and more modern facility to meet all of their healthcare needs."
The new clinic has a lot to offer patients. There will be three family practice physicians, expanded ophthalmology and optometry services, outreach specialties such as OB/GYN and also services from orthopedics and sports medicine. Additionally, the new clinic triples the size of the area dedicated to physical therapy, will have new equipment for physical therapy and an area dedicated to pelvic floor therapy services. Another great thing about the convenient location of the clinic is the easy access to urgent care services offered from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.daily.
A formal celebration for the opening of the clinic will be held on Monday, Jan. 23 starting at noon.
