This summer's St. Louis County Fair in Chisholm has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Citing the health and safety of the community, the St. Louis County Agricultural Fair Association Board made the decision to cancel the fair, scheduled for Aug. 5-9, according to a news release. The next fair will take place Aug. 4-8, 2021.
The county fair board will use the additional time to plan something "bigger and better" for next year, the news release read.
This summer's South St. Louis County Fair in Proctor is also canceled .
