Gary Butler, of Duluth, followed slowly behind his 14-year-old Husky mix, Daisy, around the outside of the parking lot at Rice's Point on Thursday morning.
Although time has slowed Daisy, she still leads the way while Butler follows in his car due to lung issues.
"We try to get out here every day," Butler said.
The duo usually makes a couple laps around the lot before heading home to take a nap.
