9/Answering a request from the city, area residents dropped off hundreds of bags of leaves at the Duluth Rose Garden for winterizing the roses. By Nov. 3, the garden had plenty and called off the request, thanking the public. Residents may bring bagged leaves to WLSSD’s Yard Waste Compost Site at 2626 Courtland Ave. Leaves and grass clippings are accepted free of charge.
