Xanadu is a 1-year-old kitty who is a strong and independent gal that enjoys pets and playtime on her own terms. She needs someone who will be patient with her while she learns the world isn't so scary. If you are interested in adopting her, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road, Duluth, or call the adoption team at 218-722-5341 .

Rosa is looking for her last forever home. While she is 14 years old, she still has a lot of love to give and she'd like to think that she deserves a loving family to spend her last years with. While her vision is a bit impaired, she has many positive attributes including her sweet nature, her playful side (she loves jingly ball toys), her love of people, her love of cuddling in laps, and her excellent hygiene. Rosa just received a dental cleaning so will bring her sparkly whites with her. Helping PAWS Pet Rescue, in Washburn, Wisconsin, cares for companion animals of all ages and conditions. Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
