Miami

Miami is a 1-year-old feline looking for a loving home. Miami is a little spicy, just like the city. She might take some time to warm up when she is getting to know you, but if you think you can take the heat, she could be the gal for you. Miami is like one of those signs you see in the museum: You can look but don't touch (unless she asks you to). She is an an independent gal who is slowly learning that humans aren't that scary. If you are interested in adopting Miami, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or call the adoption team at 218-722-5341.

Douglas County Humane Society is is looking for a foster to adopt their loving Sophia. She is a 1-year-old pitbull. She is heartworm positive and will need a calm home to foster her during treatment and recovery. She is an absolute sweetheart who loves everyone. Note: While in foster care, HSDC covers all care for the animal. The foster agrees to bring the animal to the shelter for their appointments until the animal is released for adoption. The foster has the first opportunity to adopt, if they choose to. If you are interested, contact the shelter at 715-398-6784 for more information on our foster program.
