Meet Hank. He is a 1-year-old boxer mix who is looking for his forever home. He is an energetic puppy who is learning commands like sit and stay. He is very intelligent and would thrive in a home where he could run and play; kids are a plus. If you would like to meet Hank, call Precious Paws at 218-254-3300 to set up a meet and greet.

Nora, a 10-month-old pup, is a very sweet girl that can be a little nervous of new situations at first, but if you are willing to give me some time to warm up to you, you will have a buddy for life. She is toy- and treat-motivated, so it won't take much to win Nora over. If you are interested in adopting her, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road, Duluth, or call the adoption team at 218-722-5341.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
