Meet Charlie, a 1-year-old pup looking for a loving home. Charlie has lots of energy and is looking for a home where he can get lots of exercise. Charlie is very smart and needs someone who is willing to help him work on his manners and teach him new tricks.

Charlie is a pretty selfish guy and wants all the love to himself, so he would prefer a home with no other dogs. If you are interested in adopting Charlie, visit Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road, Duluth, or call the adoption team at 218-722-5341.

Waylon is a 2-year-old hound/husky mix available for adoption. He is a sweet, playful boy and he loves to explore. Waylon just got back from doggy school (a five-week dog training course) and is ready to show you all the cool things he learned. He can sit, lay down, stay and so much more.

Waylon is updated with vaccinations and has been neutered, dewormed, given flea/tick preventative, 4DX tested (negative), microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee is $350 plus tax. Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "staff." Often, the "staff" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
