Holy Rosary School’s first grade classes continued a school tradition of dressing as saints as they led in the weekly school Mass in honor of the Feast of All Saints on Oct. 29. Following the Mass, the students shared facts about saints as they visited the rest of the school and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary parish offices.

Each child selected a saint to portray as a way to learn more about the saint. “We use this opportunity to look at the characteristics of the saints to see how we can use these elements

in our own lives to be followers of Jesus,” said Jodi Altonen, first-grade teacher.
