Essentia Health welcomes Dr. Mindi Kvaal Anderson

Dr. Mindi Kvaal Anderson, a hospitalist, has joined Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center.

As part of the hospitalist team, Dr. Kvaal Anderson cares for patients who are hospitalized due to illness or injury. Dr. Kvaal Anderson explains: “I chose family medicine because I like a little bit of everything, and I chose hospital medicine because I like the increased pace and the satisfaction in seeing people get well and return to their life.”

Dr. Kvaal Anderson earned her medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Duluth. She completed residency in family medicine at the Duluth Family Medicine Residency Program.

“I enjoy the time spent getting to know my patients; if you ask the right questions, you can sometimes find out some very interesting and unique things,” Dr. Kvaal Anderson said. “I believe being a medical doctor is truly a privilege and I am honored to be entrusted to care for you and your family.”
