Essentia Health welcomes certified nurse practitioner Erika Ehlers

Erika Ehlers, a certified nurse practitioner, is welcoming new patients in family medicine at the Essentia Health-Hermantown Clinic.

“I chose family medicine because I enjoy getting to care for patients across their lifespan, from birth to older age,” Ehlers said. “I think family medicine has a unique opportunity to care for patients across the ages and care for those within the same family.”

Ehlers shares that the aging population is a special interest of hers.

Ehlers earned her Master’s Degree from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
