Dana Tchida, with more than three decades of experience caring for seniors in our region, joined Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living on June 8 as its Administrator.

Tchida was previously Program Director at Pinewood Duluth, and prior to that worked for the Benedictine Sisters for 32 years, including as Director of the Benedictine Living Community’s Westwood and Marywood assisted living facilities.

“We have always admired Dana’s compassionate demeanor and management abilities, so we’re very happy that he is now leading the Keystone Bluffs team,” said Natalie Zeleznikar, CEO of Keystone Bluffs in Duluth and also the Diamond Willow assisted living facilities in Duluth, Proctor, Cloquet and seven other Minnesota communities. “Many of our residents and their relatives consider him part of their family, which is exactly the homelike environment we strive to provide.”

Tchida said he appreciates Keystone Bluffs’ tradition and reputation for providing quality independent and assisted living care under one roof.

“My passion has always been caring for seniors,” he said. “I consider senior care as my life’s work and I am pleased to be doing so with the 24-hour nursing staff and other caregivers at Keystone Bluffs.”

Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living opened in 2000 at 2528 Trinity Road in Duluth. Its newly remodeled facility offers one-level living with 79 private and semi-private rooms for up to 100 residents.
