Considered Representation

This letter is paid content. I am supporting Janet Kennedy for the 5th District Council seat. We met her several years ago, and have participated in many civic activities together. As a lifelong resident of the district Janet currently serves as Chairperson in her second term on the City Planning Commission. This involvement has provided her with considerable insight into the city development process. She was also very involved in the current City Plan, commonly known as Imagine Duluth-2035. With her health background she helped craft the health portion of the plan, looking forward to improving the well-being of all residents.

Janet is always willing to listen to citizen’s concerns. With her vast experience, she offers the time and expertise to “get things done”.

As a female Janet will bring a needed balance to the council membership. Janet has been present at neighborhood meetings and events for years, getting to know individuals and learning the issues of the areas. This has been absent for many years in our district, and will be a welcome presence to have again to connect directly to City Hall.

Please join me in supporting Janet at the polls on Election Day.
