MISSION CREEK STREAM
RESTORATION PROJECT

Sealed Bids for the construction of the Mission Creek Stream Restoration Project will be received by the South St. Louis Soil and Water Conservation District (the Funding Agency), located at 215 N. 1st Ave. E., Rm. 301 Duluth, MN 55802 (Historic Old Central High School) until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday June 6, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of approximately 2,700 feet of stream channel restoration including channel excavation and re-alignment, temporary stream diversion, wood and rock structure installation and construction and restoration of a small tributary channel and the removal of a debris catcher structure.

Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bonds and Prevailing Wages apply to this Project. In addition, the provisions of Minn. Stat. 16C.285 Responsible Contractor also apply - all bidders submitting a Bid shall comply with the provisions of the statute.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract and shall be on a Unit Price basis.
Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the project site at 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, May 23, 2019.
No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after bid opening without written consent of the Funding Agency.
The Bid will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder providing evidence of the required pre-qualifications, 45 days after the bids are received and verified or until state and federal permits are obtained.
All questions are to be in written form via email and directed to Keith Anderson at keithanderson@tsa3.org. All questions must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Friday May 31, 2019.
The Funding Agency reserves the right to reject all bids submitted.
