Storm Sewer Project
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Superior, Public Works Department at 1316 North 14th Street - 2nd Floor, Suite 200, Superior, WI 54880. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City offices as follows:
Bid Opening: Thursday, February 7, 1:00 p.m.
Bid Project: The project shall consist of constructing 224 lineal feet of 12-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) storm sewer, removal of 41 lineal feet of Vitrified Clay Pipe (VCP) combined sewer, removal of storm inlets, installing sanitary manholes in alley entrances, placement of curb and gutter for one half block along Banks Avenue, and resurfacing of bituminous roadway along Banks Avenue and alley ways.
All bids must be prepared on the form provided and submitted in accordance to the Instructions to Bidder.
Specifications may be obtained through the internet at www.DemandStar.com via the City of Superiors web page, or by phoning DemandStar at 1-800-711-1712. Bidding documents may be viewed at the Public Works Office, Government Center, 1316 North 14th Street - 2nd Floor, Superior, Wisconsin (715-395-7557) and at the Builders Exchange, 802 Garfield Avenue, Duluth, MN.
Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
The contractor shall submit a list of his subcontractors as a part of his proposal, which list shall not be added to or altered without the written consent of the City of Superior, and as specified in 66.0901 Wisconsin Statutes.
A prebid meeting is scheduled on Thursday, January 31st, 1:00 p.m., City of Superior, Environmental Services Division at 511 East 1st Street 2nd Floor, Media Room, Superior, WI 54880.

The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests.
