The Halloween-themed Pumpkin Run & Walk 5k race will return in person at the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College in Cloquet on Saturday, Oct. 23.

The event begins and ends at the FDLTCC campus and is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, a news release from the college said.

"We’re excited to welcome runners, walkers, people in costumes, students, area residents, and people from around the region to experience this wonderful run on our campus," FDLTCC Director of Marketing and Communications Taylor Warnes said.

Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes or orange clothing. Prizes will be awarded to people with the best costumes.

The 3.1 mile race takes place on the campus, Carlton County Road 3, or 14th Street, Valley View Drive and Harner Lane. The course is mostly flat.
