The Duluth Warming Center will be open every night this week for people experiencing homelessness and anyone in need as the temperatures will be at or below freezing all week, CHUM and Loaves and Fishes announced Monday.
The shelter is in the Duluth Housing and Redevelopment Authority’s Rainbow Center, 211 N. Third Ave. E. and will be open from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. all week.
Facemasks are required for guests.
The Duluth Transit Authority will provide free rides to and from the shelter during open hours, the city of Duluth said in a news release.
Because of COVID-19, the shelter is not accepting donations or volunteers, the city said.
