Duluth Fourth Fest will return to Bayfront Festival Park with food vendors, live entertainment and Minnesota's largest fireworks display after being canceled last year.

"It's exciting," said Dan Hartman, the new executive director of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. "It's great to have that sense of normalcy coming back. I know I'm excited for me and my family to watch the fireworks again."

While there may be fewer food vendors , Hartman said the festivities won't look much different than years past. The Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra will perform before the fireworks show begins at 10:10 p.m. Sunday, July 4.

Admission is free. Gates open at 4 p.m., with entertainment starting at 5 p.m.

The Duluth City Council approved $50,000 for fireworks in March.
