For the first time in The Gymnastics Academy's history, all 16 members of the optional team have earned the all-around score of 32.0 during the competition season to qualify for the Minnesota state gymnastics meet. The gymnasts come from 10 different schools in the area, but will be competing as TGA gymnasts March 22-24 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The TGA gymnasts include Nayomi Jokinen, Level 7, Hermantown; Layla Eckstrom, Level 7, Proctor; Amelia Allen, Level 8, Cloquet; Andrea Silverio, Level 8, home-schooled; Madelyn Brannan, Level 7, North Star Academy; Aleah Lindgren, Level 6, Esko; Cedar Canfield, Level 6, Lakeview Christian Academy; Mea Martinsen, Level 7, Duluth East; Amaya Grinde Fosaaen, Level 8, Two Harbors; Hallee Ballavance, Level 8, Hermantown; Rachel Ronquist, Level 7, Hermantown; Brooklyn Gould, Level 8, Hermantown; Martyn Dahl, Level 8, Duluth East; Callihan Johnson, Level 8, Marshall School; Sarah Baker, Level 6, Proctor and Reese Ronquist, Level 6, Hermantown.
The U15A Proctor-Hermantown Mirage ended their season with a third place finish at the State Tournament in Blaine, Minn., with a record of 27-11-4. The Mirage won in the quarterfinals 4-2 over Eagan-Inver Grove Heights, then fell to Minnetonka Black in the semifinals 2-1, finishing third place beating Wayzata Blue in a 4-3 OT win. U15A Proctor-Hermantown Mirage team includes Alyssa Yokom, Anissa Ewer, Reese Heitzman, Abby Pajari, Rylee Gilbertson, Sophie Parendo, Anika Burke, Natalya Hooey, Ember Kehtel, Nya Sieger, Baylie Peterson, Opal Bourdage, Neelah McLeod, Ava Anick, Kora Duncan, Preslie Annala.
